The day follows a simple rhythm: pickup around 8:00, about three hours' drive, three to four hours at the falls, and back in Marrakech in the early evening. The price is for the whole vehicle, not per person: from €180 for 1 to 7 people, and the total is shown before you pay.

The private transport suits people who want a reliable car and the freedom to walk at their own speed. The private Ouzoud tour is our main offer: a local guide meets you at the falls and shows you the paths, the viewpoints and the old mills. The premium private day bundles everything so you do not have to negotiate or choose on the spot.
What does the day look like?
- Around 8:00: the driver picks you up at your hotel entrance or at the meeting point closest to your riad.
- Morning: the road crosses the Haouz plain and climbs towards the Atlas foothills. The drive takes about three hours, and you can ask for a short break on the way.
- Late morning: arrival at Ouzoud, at about 1,060 m of altitude. A paved path lined with terrace cafés leads down to the foot of the falls in about 20 minutes.
- Three to four hours on site: viewpoints over the three tiers, the boat ride under the spray, lunch on a terrace, and the Barbary macaques that live around the falls.
- Afternoon: walk back up, then the drive to Marrakech, where you arrive in the early evening.

Why book a private trip rather than a group tour?
A shared day tour follows a fixed schedule with other travellers. With a private trip, the car leaves when your group is ready, stops when someone needs a break, and the time at the falls is yours. Families can travel at a child's pace. Photographers can wait for the light. Groups of friends stay together in one vehicle sized for them, up to 17 seats.

Can you pick us up from a riad in the medina?
Hotels in Guéliz, Hivernage, Agdal or the Palmeraie are easy: the driver waits at the entrance. Riads are different, because cars cannot enter the medina lanes. We meet you at the nearest gate or car park the vehicle can reach, for example Bab Doukkala, Bab Laksour or Bab Agnaou, depending on where you stay. How do you book and pay?
Booking is instant and online. Choose your offer, date, number of travellers and options in the form, and the total for your group appears straight away: for example, four people on the guided tour pay €220, or €55 each. You pay a 50% deposit by PayPal or by card through PayPal, your booking is confirmed by email straight away, and you pay the balance in cash to the driver on the day. What are the Ouzoud Waterfalls?
The Ouzoud Waterfalls lie in Azilal Province, in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region. The Oued Ouzoud, also called the Oued Tissakht, drops about 110 m in three tiers into the gorge of the Oued El Abid, between Jurassic limestone cliffs and olive groves. Small traditional mills still stand along the stream, and a troop of Barbary macaques, an endangered species, lives on the site. Ouzoud is also a geosite of the M'Goun UNESCO Global Geopark.

How far are the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech?
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are about 150 to 160 km north-east of Marrakech, in Azilal Province. The drive takes about three hours each way on paved roads. That is why a day trip starts early, usually with a pickup around 8:00, and gets you back to Marrakech in the early evening after three to four hours at the falls.
Is the trip really private?
Yes. The vehicle and the driver are for your group only, from a couple to a family of ten. We use a 7-seat minivan for 1 to 7 travellers and a 17-seat minibus for 8 to 17 travellers. You never share the car with strangers, and the day follows your pace.
What is the difference between your three offers?
Private transport is the return trip with a driver and free time at the falls. The private Ouzoud tour adds a local guide for the walk to the falls and the viewpoints. Can we cancel?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the trip and the deposit is refunded in full. After that, or if nobody shows up, the deposit is not refunded. If the weather makes the trip unsafe, for example a storm or a closed road, you choose between a new date and a full refund of the deposit.
Is Ouzoud suitable for children?
Yes, children are welcome and Ouzoud is a popular family outing. Tell us the ages when you book. The paths to the foot of the falls have steps and slopes, so a pushchair is hard on the way down and a baby carrier works better. The walk down takes about 20 minutes, with cafés along the way for breaks.
Are the Ouzoud Waterfalls worth visiting?
Yes, for most travellers staying in Marrakech.
