Ouzoud Excursions
Ouzoud Excursions, a brand of Visit Morocco Trips (Marrakech, Morocco), is responsible for the personal data collected through this website and through our booking contacts. We keep that data to the minimum needed to organise your trip.
What we collect
When you send a request through our booking form, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, usually your WhatsApp number;
- your pickup place in Marrakech (hotel, or riad and address);
- your message, with the details you choose to give us (date, number of people, children's ages, dietary needs, special requests).
If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email instead, we receive the same kind of information, plus whatever you include in your messages.
We ask you not to send sensitive information we do not need. If you tell us about a health condition or a mobility issue so that we can adapt the day, we use it only for that purpose.
Why we use it
We use your data only to handle your request and your booking: to reply with a written proposal, confirm the booking, arrange the pickup, pass the necessary details (name, pickup point, phone number) to your driver and, where your trip includes them, to your local guide and the restaurant, and to contact you about your trip. We also keep the records we need for our accounting obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade it to anyone.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Our booking system: requests sent through the website are stored in our booking system, which only our team can access.
- PayPal: deposits are paid through PayPal. Your payment details (PayPal account or bank card) are entered on PayPal's pages and processed by PayPal under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store your card number.
- WhatsApp and email: if you write to us this way, your messages are also handled by the provider of the service you use.
We keep your data for as long as needed to organise your trip and deal with any follow-up, and for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
Cookies and Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our pages. It is loaded only if you accept in the cookie banner. If you refuse, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
How you found us
To understand which channels bring us bookings, the site remembers in your browser the website you came from (for example a search engine) and the first page you visited. This information is sent with your booking request, and a short reference code is added to WhatsApp messages started from the site. It does not identify you on its own and is used only for our own statistics.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, unless we must keep it for a legal reason, such as accounting records of a paid booking.
To do so, write to [email protected] from the email address you used, or tell us which booking it concerns. We will reply by email.
